Prompt Search - How to Search the Web in Chrome

When you think about searching, you most probably think about typing something in an address bar and getting your search results right away. While that's a good way to search the web, it's not the only way.

For example, if you were looking for a recipe for brownies, you could open your favorite recipe website in a new tab and start typing in the search box. When you find a result, you can click on it and you're done.

That's great, but it doesn't make it any easier to browse through the recipes and find one that suits you best. There are so many websites on the web, and sometimes you don't know where to start. You might have a good idea of what kind of recipe you want, but you don't know which website is the best one to search.

This is where Prompt Search comes in. Prompt Search allows you to search the web while you are browsing through the web in chrome. You can use the up and down arrow keys to browse through your results, and it supports command line style interaction where users can use the up and down arrow keys to navigate previous searches. It's completely free and can be found on GitHub under the same name. It was developed to allow users to search while browsing in full screen (an option that was previously not available).
